This cunning little demon is everywhere and it happens to be one of the most widely used food additives. Isn’t it just sugar made from corn, you ask? No, no and absolutely not! HFCS is an artificial sugar derived from the fructose of corn (a branch of the corn industry). HFCS is instantly absorbed by the body and goes directly to your cells wreaking havoc on your metabolism.

This sugar substance has only been on the scene for the last 40 years and is suspected of being responsible for our current obesity and daibet epidemic that is prevalent in today’s society. But in addition to these two well-known health diseases, it is also responsible for acute chronic inflammation in the body and can trigger a number of other immune diseases such as ITP disorder.
