We’ve all seen them before: businesses that promise great wealth and prosperity with a minimum of effort. Did you know that only 1 in 1,000 home businesses last more than 5 years? So what REALLY sets all of these companies apart, and which method has the least risk for all of them?
First, let’s take a look at a form of marketing that has become SO popular (and many times out of control): multi-level marketing. When you think of multi-level marketing, you might think of dominant salespeople who start out by annoying their family and friends and resort to manipulating others into buying large amounts of inventory. You can also imagine a get-rich-quick scheme with promises of great wealth with very little work. Finally, you can imagine business schemes that lack an attractive product, but exalt the promise of great income.
Now, let’s take a look at what some companies are turning to: direct-to-consumer marketing. What is the big difference? Well, direct-to-consumer marketing typically redirects funds that would normally be used for advertising, multiple shipping costs, multiple intermediaries, and multiple distribution channels into spending for higher-quality ingredients, product innovations, and profit-sharing with customers. The result of this is an exciting new method of delivering quality, low-cost products to families around the world, and then SHARING THE INCOME with those families.
Companies that are truly above the rest are paying attention to the important aspects of direct-to-consumer marketing. The true result is less risk for the business builder and the consumer, because there are no inventories to buy, there are no financial risks, and there is no advertising. EVERYONE, referrers and customers alike, only buy what they need each month. And of course, anyone who refers someone else earns a commission on the purchases of the customers they refer.
Perhaps the best thing about this almost “relaxed” method is that most customers buy every month without any interest in receiving commissions, and when you have customers who really love the products and are not pressured by the vast majority of MLM. Companies that exist, that means real residual income, income that you will receive for the rest of your life, your retirement or your children’s college education.
