Services running in the background
Services running in the background make your laptop run slower. Laptop freezes a lot due to unwanted and unnecessary services running in the background. Stop most of these services, especially those you don’t use:
1. Click Start, type Services.msc, and press ENTER.
2. Right-click on a service and select the Stop option.
3. Do the same for all other unnecessary services.
Run Windows Experience Index
