There are many fighters in MMA that you should want to be for many different reasons. We are going to talk about being a powerful and respectable fighter. Here’s why you should model these fighters.
Fedor.
Fedor Emelianenko is the best MMA fighter in the history of the sport without a doubt. Even with his first loss, he is still considered the best in the world.
Model the “last emperor” by watching their fights and listening to interviews. He’s soft-spoken, but has the biggest power pack in the sport that any fighter has to offer.
Georges St. Pierre.
Given the title as the best fighter in the sport right now, GSP is a champion who can’t help but like him. He has the strength of a gorilla in a 170 pound division.
GSP remains humble and cuts through opponent after opponent. His losses only took out a wrecking machine when he was on his way back to the title.
Dan Henderson.
Hendo is the Olympic fighter turned atomic fist in Pride and some in the UFC. He is the only fighter who fights and wins simultaneously in two different weight classes.
Hendo is another one of those soft-spoken fighters, but incredibly powerful for his size. Watch some of their old fights and learn from their fights.
These are by far the most respectable and powerful fighters you should emulate in MMA. Of course, you will need to have near-anti-human strength and conditioning to measure up to them. Use a complete strength and conditioning program for MMA in your training.
