Titan Training developed by Leo Costa Jr and Dr. Russ Horine. I would advise anyone who is serious about weight training or bodybuilding to check it out. I myself have been training for most of my teenage and adult life and for the most part struggled to gain muscle and strength, to some extent I almost stopped training altogether.
Most of the guys in the gyms I trained believed the only solution is steroids okay I admit you can get fantastic results if you use the right cocktails not that I’ve used them but I’ve seen guys get Some. great increases in muscle growth and strength. I am also not judging anyone who does it, I have always felt that your training has to be correct even if you are using steroids and that it is more of an icing on the cake for someone who wants to do it, but not that I would advise it.
So I wasn’t making any real gains in size or strength by following normal gym programs and so-called expert programs. So I thought to myself what is the secret, if there really was one and as the saying goes seek and you will find. After a bit of research I came across a program called Big Beyond Belief. This was Costa and Horine’s first program based on the Bulgarian weightlifter training systems of macro and microperiodization or cyclic rain. Have you ever felt that after about 2-3 weeks your training seemed to become stale? Well this program fixed that by cycling your training volume and rest periods between sets, you don’t train too hard and still build size and strength. You can check this program on Amazon if you want.
I myself made substantial gains in size and strength with this program, results I had never experienced before and I was drug free. The guys in the gym accused me of taking steroids, but I wasn’t.
Then I found Titan Training, Serious Growth IV. This program basically consists of 3 training principles, namely:
- Power and strength training.
- Volume training using higher repetitions and compound sets to improve blood flow and active recovery in the muscle.
- Muscle rounds where you pick a weight you can do 8-10 reps to failure with, but then do 4 reps, rest 10 seconds, do 4 reps, rest 10 seconds, and keep repeating until you’ve completed 6 rounds, which will then count as 1 set.
Of course, I’d urge you to get the program to see how it’s structured, but with the aforementioned principles combined, it really does give you a powerful, well-rounded physique and some serious muscle growth.
A word of warning though, this program is not for the faint hearted, it can get really difficult to the point of having to psych yourself up to do the exercises as it is physically demanding, although the program is only 4 days a week or you will be taking your chances with the training.
So hang in there and do it, as the results you will get are really worth it, so enjoy.
