Siesta Key is world-renowned for its long white-sand beaches and beautiful sunsets. Few subdivisions showcase the beauty of the Gulf Coast more impressively than the Sanderling Club.
Until recently, the Sanderling Club was the only gated single-family residential community on Siesta Key. Although newer subdivisions have sprung up in recent years, Sanderling remains the grand dame of them all, her door still manned by friendly and helpful staff, rather than an electronic sentinel. With lush, tropical lots, huge mature shade trees, and acreage rarely seen on the beach, this community is Florida old grace at its core.
Aside from the canopied trees, many properties enjoy a frontage on the beautiful Heron Lagoon, providing the opportunity to get up close and personal with wildlife, most notably the large wading birds that grace the view. All homes have access to Heron Lagoon and many have boat docks to facilitate a lazy day on calm waters.
Gulf front homes enjoy a lifestyle that only a few will realize. Like prestigious Casey Key to the south, gulf front homes have endless gulf views and miles of walkable beach right outside your door. Of course, the beach is available to all Sanderling residents, and there are also beach huts, specially designed by architect Paul Rudolph.
Sanderling Club residents are required to join the Sanderling Club, which offers a clubhouse and tennis facilities. There is also a community dock. This is Siesta Key real estate as it should be: natural, private, and serene.
